Now, place the plunger straight away on the opening of the drain pipe,and thump it up and down a number of times. When you finally release the plunger, any trapped water should immediately be drained.
However, if this method also fails to have any affect you might have to use some sort of chemical cleaner. It should be noted that chemical drainpipe cleaners should only be used as a final solution as the chemical substances are harmful and could damage your bathroom fixtures and sanitary fittings.
